Get answers about pricing, compatibility, and technical requirements. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ## Frequently asked questions Requirements vary per template. Most templates work with Sales Hub Professional and above. Check the Requirements section on each template's product page for specific HubSpot subscription needs. Quote functionality is available in Sales Hub Professional, Enterprise, and Service Hub Enterprise. You need Super Admin permissions in your HubSpot portal to install quote templates. This includes access to Settings > Content > Design Manager, theme settings, and file manager. If you don't have these permissions, contact your HubSpot portal administrator. License terms are per portal unless specified otherwise on the product page. Each HubSpot portal requires its own template license. For agencies managing multiple client portals, you'll need separate purchases for each portal. Yes, templates are fully customizable. Access theme settings through Settings > Content > Themes & Modules in HubSpot. You can modify colors, fonts, spacing, and module visibility. See [Theme customisation](/docs/fow_genesis/theme-customisation) for detailed instructions on the Genesis template. Template assets are stored in your HubSpot File Manager under Design Manager. This includes CSS files, images, and module files. All template files are organized in dedicated folders and can be accessed through Settings > Content > Design Manager. Quote templates are tested for compatibility with modern browsers including Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge. For optimal printing results, we recommend using Chrome. Some advanced CSS features may render differently in older browser versions. Existing quotes remain unchanged when you install a new template. Only new quotes created after installation will use the new template design. You can recreate existing quotes with the new template if desired, but this requires manually recreating them. Each template includes configurable modules that can be enabled, disabled, or customized through HubSpot's module settings. Access these through the template editor or theme settings. Each module has specific configuration options detailed in the template documentation. If installation fails, check your HubSpot permissions and ensure you have Super Admin access. Verify your portal has sufficient storage space and that Design Manager is accessible. Contact support with your portal ID and error details for assistance. When updates are available, you'll see an update banner in your dashboard for the affected template. This will prompt you to reinstall the template. You will need to recreate existing quotes with the updated template to see changes in effect. Each update is documented in the template's changelog. Custom quote templates work within HubSpot's standard API limitations for quotes and CRM objects. Templates are built using HubSpot's native CMS and quote systems, so they inherit the same API rate limits and functionality constraints as standard HubSpot quotes. Template configurations are stored within your HubSpot portal's theme settings and can be exported through Design Manager. However, we recommend documenting your customizations and keeping records of your theme settings for easy restoration if needed.
